Yep, I kinda want to give up on Diablo III already... I dont always have an internet connection. I feel like I've wasted $60.

It's not that, I just might have a different copy coming in (CE possibly) and I'd like to refund it and activate that on my account instead. Is this possible? Does anyone know
Yes I am also wondering this. I upgraded to CE as soon as I got it yesterday. From what I've read they give you another game key for your digital version ? I hope that is not the case... everyone I know that would need a key already has the game. I was going to submit a ticket asking this.. but the support topic and details options really didn't match what I needed to ask.
Can we get a refund to our credit card or at the very least blizzard bucks? I'm not a whiner but I bought the digital version to play before my CE arrived... That really wasn't possible.

If you would actually read your TOS that you agreed to, then you would know that if you don't like the game within 30days for any reason you can request a refund. Not after the 30days though.
For Digital you contact blizzard directly. Their phone number is on the website.
For Physical version you call 1-800-757-7707. That was the number provided in the TOS. I'm sure you contact blizzard directly also.

Why would you buy a game that explicitly stated that you need a constant internet connection if you don't have one?
Thanks for the quick response. I guess I just heard about getting a new game key instead of an actual refund so many times on this forum, had me worried. I am unfortunately not in the 1% of people who read the ToS lol.. should probably start. Anyway thanks.
Here's a good question. Say I want to get a refund so I can buy the CE edition.. Can I transfer my character over?
Does anyone know the specific number for digital download refunds?
Actually you should bother asking. The only ones who can say yes or no to your individual situation are Blizzard Billing reps. You can contact them at:

I've been trying to get the game to install for the past 3 days, and it just wont, every time I try and download it with the Blizzard Downloader it literally crashes when theres only a few minutes left, then I try and just carry it on and every time it times out. I'm getting really F***KING sick now, and it's made me not want to play the game! It was 10 pound more than in store, and i think it's pretty !@#$ty of them if they're going to make it physically impossible for me to get the game when they're making it more expensive than a hard copy of it! This seriously needs to be sorted!
You can absolutely get a refund:

If you purchased the game, you can get it refunded as long as the receipt shows the purchase date in the last 30 days at the time a refund is requested. If the game was added to your account via the World of Warcraft Annual Pass there's nothing that can be refunded as it was never purchased.
For more information, please contact our Billing Department.
Billing representatives are on hand to take your call between 7am to 8pm Pacific Time, 7 days a week at 1-800-59-BLIZZARD (1-800-592-5499). Customers in Australia should call 1-800-041-378.

For those still contemplating a REFUND a nice lil bump for you. ;)
bump for high interest
anyone interested? You know you have a prime open window to ask for a refund since they are asking you to resign the TOS!
I would hope they wouldn't refund your money! It's a PC game, not exactly something you can get refunds for in the real world. (Try taking PC software back to a Best Buy and see what they say!)
They offered a Beta, and even have a 'Starter Edition (Guest Pass Edition)' to ' try before you buy' so it's not their fault you ran out like a good little consumer and bought it.

Does any one know how can I return if I order from Battle.net directly. Yesterday I used VISA to buy this game. Now my order status is from queued to completed, but it is still not full version. I dont want wait anymore.

So if its more than 30 days it a no?
you have 30 days to request for them to replace any defective materials such as CD/DVDs if you bought them from a store and find they are defective. you can also request a refund IF you havent applied the serial key to your account. however, since the key is one time use then once it is locked into your account then you are no longer eligible for a refund regardless of time frame.

A few minutes ago, I accidentally purchased a game on the Nintendo Switch eShop. I have not launched the game, so it still has 0 hours played.
How can I refund a digital game purchased on the Nintendo Switch eShop?

Nintendo does not offer refunds for games or DLC purchased on the eShop:
Refund Request for Downloaded Game or DLC (Wrong Game, Didn't Like Game, Accidental Purchase)
Situation:
Refund request for digital content purchased through a Nintendo Shop Channel. (For example, incorrect game or DLC was downloaded, content was purchased by accident, you didn't like the game.)

Nintendo does not offer refunds. However, customer support may. Good luck.

You can get refunds for games by calling Nintendo Customer Support. I made an accidental purchase, and regained my funds.
